In brief...Highland Pre-school Services

Highland Pre-school Services, the association for early years groups in Highland and Moray, was presented with an award from the Scottish Executive for its innovative training and support programme at this month's national training awards ceremony in Glasgow. Chief executive Ann Brady (left, with Audrey Tomlinson, group training officer) said, 'This award is a positive recognition for years of hard work, motivation and commitment from the HPS staff team. It also enables us to pay tribute to the determination and drive of the hundreds of playstaff who have accessed the training. Their commitment to learning has helped to ensure that the role of the voluntary sector within pre-school education and care is valued and recognised.'
