The theatrical production of Stick Man is returning for a tour to mark its tenth anniversary.

The play, based on the book by Julia Donaldson with illustrations by Axel Scheffler, will be performed at venues including in Margate, Brighton and Hampshire, until the end of the year.

Packed full of puppetry, live music and funky moves, the theatre adaptation has its tenth birthday the year after the book, which has been translated into 23 languages and hit number one in the children’s book charts.

Jen Sutherland of Freckle Productions said, ‘Families and little ones continue to discover Julia’s brilliant book year after year, and there is something magical about seeing Stick Man’s adventure unfold live in a theatre. We hope to continue bringing the show to audiences for many years to come.’
