The Daycare Trust and the National Association of Family Information Services are expected to come to a decision this month about a possible merger.
The two organisations, who have a history of working together, have been in talks about merging over recent months. If it goes ahead, NAFIS membership will still be available under a separate new category of Daycare Trust membership. The NAFIS and Families First Standards will also remain unchanged, but with the Daycare Trust acting as the national voice for Family Information Services.
