Some anniversary reprints of much-loved children's books.
Kipper is celebrating his 25th birthday this year. Marking the occasion are anniversary reprints plus the publication of Kipper's Little Friends, the first new Kipper title in six years (Hodder Children's Books).
Augustus the tiger is ten. In Augustus and his Smile, he feels sad but comes to realise what happiness is all about. An anniversary edition of this award winner is available (Little Tiger Press).
Old Bear has hit 30, and to celebrate creator Jane Hissey has written Happy Birthday Old Bear (Scribblers). In it, party preparations are in full swing until Elsie the elephant, holding her painted umbrella gift for Old Bear, is blown away by a gust of wind and has to be rescued.
