Children at Elan Nursery in Steyning, West Sussex organised a special tea party for their grandparents. After baking some delicious cakes, they had a great time chatting to their elderly friends, including the grandmother of a member of the pre-school team who was a nursery nurse in 1948.
The children loved hearing how things had changed since then and enjoyed looking at some of Sylvia’s pictures from that era.
