Children at Mon Ami Nursery in Swineshead were visited by local farmer and parent at the nursery Oliver English, who brought his tractor round.
They enjoyed getting into the cab and climbing on the wheels, and had particular fun sounding the horn. They also got to touch cereals such as oilseed rape and barley grains. Nursery manager Courtney Baird said, ‘We talked about what farmers do and how they grow food.’
