The Pikler UK Association annual conference will explore what the Pikler approach offers, focusing on enabling young children's social competence in daycare through relationship and care.

Keynote speech by Zsuzsa Libertiny and Gabriella Bakos, pedagogues from Pikler Daycare, Budapest, on the caring relationship for the young child's social competence in daycare.
Helen Bremer - the German Pikler Daycare model and how the UK compares.
Delegates can choose two workshops in the afternoon.
Workshop 1: The developing relationship between child and caregiver in the daycare centre, with Zsuzsa Libertiny
Workshop 2: The caregiver's hand - practising respectful care-taking, with Gabriella Bakos
Workshop 3: An opportunity to discuss key points from Helen Bremer's presentation.
