Our new series of recipe posters available exclusively in Nursery World magazine is beautifully illustrated by Mae Besom, and begins with cheese and herb scones. On the back of each poster, Sally Brown and Kate Morris, founders of The Purple Kitchen's Cook School, explain the recipe instructions and provide extension ideas, and give expert advice on heatlh and safety, utensils and preparation.
Future posters will include fruit pizza and vegetable curry.
To accompany the launch of the poster series, this week's issue also includes a fantastic article on the magical experience of baking with young children, explaining how it can enhance learning and development across all areas of the curriculum.
