New Management Guide: Children and Social Work Act

A new guide to the Children and Social Work Act, which became law last year, is now available.
The guide comprises four articles looking at:
- New local safeguarding arrangements, under which local children’s safeguarding board’s will no longer be statutory
- Relationships and sex education, which sees 4-year-olds receiving relationships education in schools
- Looked after children
- Changes to the social work profession
It is written by former social worker and safeguarding consultant Ann Marie Christian.
