In our nursery (Little Explorers) our children's favourite thing this summer has to be the butterflies and getting close to nature.
We fed caterpillars, watched them turning into a cocoon and then found out what happened! The children loved looking closely at the butterflies, naming them, drawing them caring for them, holding them and then letting them free ...
