Staff at Heathlands Community Pre-school have been working hard to purchase a defibrillator for the community, teaming up with a business to achieve their goal.
The defibrillator will be installed on the outer fence of the setting for the whole community to use.
Within the pre-school, children have been learning about the human heart, including how to keep it healthy, with a range of activities from labelling the body’s organs to hearing their own hearts through a stethoscope.
