'Boys' learning: the right match' is one of a fantastic roll-call of hour-long seminars at Nursery World North on 5-6 May.

Dr Jacqui Hardie, early years consultant and a local authority adviser, will be presenting the session, exploring how to match your provision with boys’ learning styles and support them in becoming confident and capable communicators.

This seminar is at 11.30-12.30 on Saturday 6 May.

There are plenty of other great training opportunities on offer across the two days, including 'The Characteristics of Effective Learning/: overcoming disadvantage', led by Jan Dubiel, national development manager at training and resources company Early Excellence. He will give an overview of the Characteristics, their links to positive dispositions and attitudes for life-long learning and show how to help all children become ‘resilient learners’ and ‘critical thinkers’.

This seminar is at 15.00-16.00 on Friday 5 May.
