Funky Owls Nursery in Colliers Wood, South West London, joined forces with a local community gardening group for National Earth Day.
The private nursery, owned and operated by two mothers, got in touch with The Friends of Colliers Wood Parks & Green Spaces to offer the services of their two-to-five-year-olds to help plant new seeds and plants in the grounds of a local recreation ground. A total of 27 children from the setting enjoyed taking turns digging, planting and watering.
