If passed, this bill will change the abortion limit from 24 to 12 weeks.
Brought forward by Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, the bill had its first reading on 5 July.
No second reading has yet been scheduled.
Parliament last voted on this issue in 2008, rejecting options from 12 to 22 weeks in a series of votes.
