It is easy to see how number can be used to develop maths skills, but more tricky to remember to see maths in more abstract concepts such as mark-making or to use Christmas presents as an opportunity to explore shape and capacity.
This book provides ideas for three- to six-year-olds linked to EYFS learning objectives. It also offers ideas for using outdoor materials and suggestions for ICT.
