Children at Alyth Kindergarten, part of the North Western Reform Synagogue in London, learned how to inflate a balloon without using their breath.
They filled a bottle with vinegar and put bicarbonate of soda into the balloon, which was placed over the top of the bottle. They were fascinated to see it inflate by itself.
