With this latest purchase, All About Children has 33 nurseries, providing more than 2,600 childcare places.
The acquisition of Daybreak Nurseries by All About Children follows that of Angels at Play’s three settings in Hertfordshire in November and the Playtime Nurseries Group, also three settings, in London last May.
The former owners of Daybreak Nurseries, which was established in 2004, Sarah Dodds, Kath Curtis and Sally Lewis, said of the sale, ‘We feel after 15 years of offering quality childcare locally in Amersham and Rickmansworth, the next step for the nurseries is to join a group who can continue our hard work and have the same ethos as us, and we believe All About Children are the ideal group to do this.’
Russell Ford, co-director of All About Children added, ‘We’re always looking to bring flagship nurseries or small, high-quality groups of nurseries into our group, and we’re delighted to have acquired Daybreak Nurseries. We really like what Sarah, Kath and Sally have built, and thank them for choosing us as buyers and being so helpful and supportive throughout the process. We are looking forward to welcoming their staff teams to All About Children. Thanks to the Christie & Co team too, for helping throughout the process.’
All About Children operates nurseries across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Surrey, Kent, the Midlands and Gloucestershire.
