You're my Rock: pooch of shadow childcare minister scoops award

The shadow childcare minister showed her dogged determination to overcome obstacles yesterday at the Westminster Dog of the Year contest.
Tracy Brabin and Labrador Rocky, seven, took the lead at the competition organised by the Dogs Trust and the Kennel Club.
The Batley and Spen MP said, ‘I am delighted to have won Westminster Dog of the Year with my terrific pooch Rocky. He had such a fantastic day, meeting all the other ‘paw-litical’ candidates and I’m really thrilled that he managed to wag his way to victory.’
