Nurseries - we want your views! Take part in the NDNA survey

The online survey is open to all private, voluntary and maintained nurseries in England, Scotland and Wales and you do not need to be a member of NDNA or a Nursery World subscriber to take part.

The results will be revealed exclusively in Nursery World in the New Year.

The survey’s findings will be used by NDNA to gain an informed overview of the state of the nursery sector in order to make recommendations to policymakers and to highlight the sector’s views.

We want to hear from you on a range of issues that affect your setting, including offering Government-funded places for two-year-olds, the Ofsted inspection process, recruitment, training, occupancy levels, and the pattern of childcare parents want. There are also questions that relate specifically to early education policy in Scotland and Wales.

NDNA chief executive, Purnima Tanuku, said, ‘NDNA is delighted to be launching its Autumn Nursery Survey in partnership with Nursery World.

‘We want to make this survey as informed and comprehensive as possible and would urge every nursery to take part.

‘NDNA works tirelessly to make the views and concerns of our members and the sector as a whole, heard at the highest level. In order to do this effectively we need evidence to present to policy makers across the board and taking the time to fill out the survey will help us to do this.’

All those who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 worth of Hope Education resource vouchers, donated by insurers Pound Gates. Five runners-up will win an NDNA development zone course of their choice worth up to £32.
