The Nursery World Show 2011 will be a vital source of information, ideas and resources for the early years sector.

Visitors to the show on 11-12 February at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, will have the chance to sample and buy the latest resources and hear from a range of leading experts.

Exhibitors include Community Playthings, NES Arnold, TTS, Shanticot, Play to Z and Mindstretchers.

The NCMA, the NDNA and the Pre-School Learning Alliance will be on hand to give advice, along with stands manned by teams from the Open University and the National Extension College.

The show will play host to an extended business seminar on the future of the sector in the new political and economic climate, as well as hour-long sessions including sensory play, working with parents, running a nursery kitchen, and child behaviour. Speakers include early years consultant Maria Robinson, Director Early Years, Extended Schools and Special Needs Group at the DfE Ann Gross, and child psychologist Jennie Lindon.

There will be a live theatre stage, outdoor play space and demonstrations of new products.

Registration is now open for the show. Entry is free and seminars can be booked online for £15, or cost £18 on the door.
