Montessori Diploma

* A Lincolnshire day nursery has been registered to deliver the Montessori Diploma to local nursery nurses. Last month the Children's House in Stallingborough was accredited to deliver the Level 4 Diploma in Education.

Eleven members of staff have begun the Diploma, which will take 15 months to complete and includes more than 400 hours of practical experience with the children.
Director and Montessori trainer Theresa Ellerby said, 'This is a rigorous qualification which demands a great deal of time and energy. But the staff have the dedication and capability to achieve the Diploma.'
The training has been financially supported by North-East Lincolnshire Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership.
