World Cup hits Eureka!

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

Children at the Eureka! Nursery in Halifax, West Yorkshire, have been enjoying the World Cup through their stomachs by tucking into food from the 32 countries whose teams are competing.

Ahead of the England-Algeria match, Oliver, aged three, had English bangers and mash, while Molly Hurl, four, tried an Algerian eggplant ratatouille. Other dishes have included South African 'bobotie', a moussaka-type dish; the Cameroonian national dish of 'ndole', soup with greens; and Brazilian 'feijoda', a black bean stew.
