Win resources - design your own bird!

Friday, October 30, 2015

Children are invited to draw or paint a bird for childcare insurer Morton Michel’s annual design competition.

Open to all early years settings and the children they care for, this year's competition is in association with Songbird Survival and aims to promote discussion about birds and nature.

Winners in the three categories (under-fives, five to seven years and eight to 11 years) and their settings will receive a selection of resources from EYP Direct.

Prizes include a bird table (eight to 11s winning setting), a Magic Drawing Board (winner five to seven) and an Owl Babies Talk and Play Story Pack (under-fives winning setting).

Each child who enters will receive a set of Morton Michel pencils and a pencil sharpener with lid.

Entries must be no larger than A4 size and drawn by children.

The competition closes on 13 November 2015. A panel of judges, including Nursery World editor Liz Roberts, will choose the winning entries, which will be announced on 23 November.
