Take a 'can-do' approach to Aspergers

Wednesday, May 11, 2011

Signs4Life has launched a new workshop to increase understanding of Asperger's Syndrome.

The one-day session explores how the syndrome affects communication and behaviour, and asks whether it can be seen as an impairment or asset. There are opportunities for participants to take part in activities and discussion and exchange experiences. A priority is also to help participants comply with the Disability Discrimination Act and Equality Acts 2010 and encourage a 'can do' approach.
