All About Children adds four nurseries, as it continues rapid expansion

The expanding nursery group has bought Daybreak Nurseries, which operates four settings across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

With this latest purchase, All About Children has 33 nurseries, providing more than 2,600 childcare places.

The acquisition of Daybreak Nurseries by All About Children follows that of Angels at Play’s three settings in Hertfordshire in November and the Playtime Nurseries Group, also three settings, in London last May.

The former owners of Daybreak Nurseries, which was established in 2004, Sarah Dodds, Kath Curtis and Sally Lewis, said of the sale, ‘We feel after 15 years of offering quality childcare locally in Amersham and Rickmansworth, the next step for the nurseries is to join a group who can continue our hard work and have the same ethos as us, and we believe All About Children are the ideal group to do this.’
