(Photograph) - Liam Grainger, aged three, and Gabriella Marshall, five, were among more than 100 children from local nurseries and childminders to make a splash at the opening of 'Splash Zone', a nature-themed play area run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and funded by a 47,570 grant from Sunderland EYDCP. Registered childcare providers and under-fives have been given free access to the facilities.
