Nurseries and schools are invited to ‘Dress up and dance’ to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Taking place on Friday 19 June, the annual fundraising event encourages early years practitioners, teachers and children to get dressed-up and have a dance, in exchange for making a suggested donation of £2 to the charity.

The theme of this year’s event is legends. Those taking part can dress up as their favourite pop icon, superhero sports personality or film star.

A free fundraising pack is available for settings that sign up to take part. The pack, created with input from Stagecoach Theatre Arts Schools, contains online dance routine tutorials, cut-out animal masks and activity sheets.

For further information and to register for ‘Dress up and dance’ visit www.macmillan.org.uk/dressup or call 0845 673 0720.
