Answers To Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to some of the questions we are asked most frequently about access to the Nursery World web site.

Why can't I access certain content?

Only subscribers can access all content on Nursery World. View the different subscription options and what they give you.

How does that differ from registration and what does registration give?

Registration to Nursery World is free. Registration lets you:

  • Read a limited number of articles free per month
  • Sign up for email bulletins
  • Comment on articles
  • Participate in the Forum

You can register here.

I am not able to view the online content that used to be available to me.

We have introduced a gating policy which enables you to view one article per month without being registered, and a further limited number of articles free of charge once you have registered. This allows you to access in-depth coverage from Nursery World, such as Practice Guides and Activity Guides, that you were not able to read before. (Only news stories were free to access on the old site.) To gain full access to all articles you will have to subscribe to Nursery World.

What happened to the "locked content" icons? Are all the articles now free?

We have replaced the locked content icons with a new gating policy which allows free access to a limited number of published articles for non-subscribers. Should you want to access more articles, you will need to register your details or subscribe to Nursery World.
