Finding the best ways to connect with families is vital for early years providers, and our Nursery World North seminar will give you plenty of ideas.

Esther O’Connor, early years phase leader at Hopping Hill Primary School, Northampton, will lead 'Family engagement: play, learning and blogging' on Saturday 6 May at Liverpool's Exhibition Centre from 14.30-15.30.

She will explore ‘home learning’ messages to pass to parents and carers, and digital strategies for parental engagement, with a focus on disadvantaged families and the language skills of three- to five-year-olds.

Esther's team has runa blogging project to promote family engagement and the use of family support workers.
