Children at Sunbeams Day Nursery in Leeds and Harrogate had great fun celebrating Kid Inventors’ Day, a national celebration marking the birthday of former US president and inventor Benjamin Franklin, who was just 12 years old when he created the world’s first swim flippers.
The purpose of the day is to encourage children’s creativity and problem-solving skills.
