A child's curiosity led the whole group to the Magical Fairy Tree in Lancing, West Sussex.
Children from Pebbles Childcare in nearby Worthing, inspected nearby Arundel Castle to see if the Queen was there.
They continued their meander around the county, hanging a home-made picture on the enchanted tree for the fairies.
