Now it's fingers crossed as the day approaches for our panel of expert judges to meet, debate and decide who will take the prizes this year.
Last year's awards were the biggest and best yet, culminating in a wonderful evening at London's Grand Connaught Rooms, and we are looking forward to an even more successful event this year.
Will you emulate the achievements of Red Hen Day Nursery, our Nursery of the Year, Nursery Chain of the Year Bertram, or Tootsies, which took the Nursery Food Award for the second time?
This year, we have introduced a topical new category, Provision for Two-Year-Olds, especially for those settings offering the free entitlement for that age group under the Government's programme, and there are some great entries in that category.
The Nursery World Awards are open to everyone in early years education and childcare, shining a light on best practice and helping to raise the profile of the sector. Through all the challenges that face them, dedicated professionals continue to improve their skills and qualifications and do a fantastic job for young children. This is your chance to be recognised and celebrated.
