The WHY? What's Happening for the Young festival comes to Southbank Centre, London for a second year, celebrating the rights of children and young people.
Inspired by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the festival explores the right to freedom of expression, play, care, safety and access to arts and culture. From 22-25 October there will be free public talks, debates, performances and workshops, and a closed forum for childcare professionals.
Hundreds of children will take part in a protest parade to celebrate positive change and show how children can influence the world.
