The Big Picture: The long and the short of it

Two- and three-year-olds at Co-operative Childcare's Great Western Hospital Nursery in Swindon have been having fun learning about their bodies and how they vary in size and shape.

As part of this, the children drew around each other to compare each other's bodies and to help them determine which one of them was the tallest in the Butterflies room.

Following on from this, the children discussed what makes them grow and how they can stay healthy.

This included a food tasting activity in which children identified the foods that were good for them, as well as planting their own vegetables in the nursery's garden.
