The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) has opened its 25th nursery in the capital.

The nursery chain has become the new operator of the Soho Family Centre in London's West End, adding to the portfolio of nurseries it operates across six London boroughs.

The nursery features a large outdoor space and garden under the building as well as a courtyard at ground level for outdoor play.

LEYF acquired the 42-place nursery last December as part of plans to double its childcare services over the next three years.

The nursery group's chief executive June O’Sullivan said, ‘The Soho Family Centre has delivered high quality services for many years to local children and families, and we want to build on their good work.

'Parents can be reassured their children will receive exceptional early years education and care and we hope to extend our partnership with parents through our home learning and community approach.’

LEYF is listed in Nursery World's Nursery Chains as the 12th largest nursery chain in the country with 1,095 childcare places, as of 31 October 2013.
