Right from the start

This conference, ran by the National Society for Deaf Children, is aimed at early years professionals who want to expand their knowledge of the challenges facing deaf children. Also, to gain new insights into how to develop their provision to meet deaf children's needs.

Speakers include -Helen Stephenson, director of early years and childcare at the Department for Education,  Julia Margo, chief executive of the Family and Childcare Trust and Gwen Carr, independent consultant in early hearing detection and intervention and honorary senior research associate at the University College London Ear Institute.

Cost: Early bird offer, available until 31 March, £125. Thereafter £160
