Course outline

Early years educators are privileged to work with young children at a crucial time of their development. We know that high quality provision makes a difference to children’s lives and continues to have a positive impact for many years thereafter.

The role of the leader in creating the very best provision plays a vital part in ensuring that quality is in place and ever improving.

During this interactive course we will refer to current research and thinking about leadership and build practical skills to take away.

Outline of the day:

  • Look at your journey into leadership and how you developed your vision
  • Help with building your team and working with others, including parents and other professionals with a focus on listening and questioning
  • Help with change and action planning

‘Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other’ - John F. Kennedy

‘Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world’ - Nelson Mandela
