Childcare management software company wins local authority contract

Connect Technology has won a major deal with Camden Council to provide a range of products to manage the everyday running of the London borough's play services.

Connect will provide management software for the administration of 22 before- and after-school and holiday club providers.

The new software, which took six months to develop, will be launched this month throughout the borough's extended school providers and will be used for tasks such as managing enquiries and bookings, and for tracking occupancy and invoicing.

Connect's managing director Chris Reid said, 'This is a huge win for Connect and sees us release our re-developed software to childcare clients nationally. Not only is it a fantastic contract to win for us, it marks the begining of our programme to roll out the upgrade to all our existing customers.'
