Appointment at the family and Parenting Institute

The family and Parenting Institute has announced that Katherine Rake is to take over from Mary MacLeod as its chief executive this autumn. Dr Rake is currently director of the Fawcett Society, which campaigns for equality between men and women and works to influence policymaking in Government. Ms MacLeod was the founding chief executive when the charity was set up in 1999. She also sits on a number of boards and executive bodies and will continue her work after she leaves the FPI.
