Major research project looks at nannies' needs

A new research project is aiming to establish how many nannies there are in England and ensure that their needs and aspirations are incorporated into strategies to develop the early years workforce.

The study - the first of its kind for ten years - has been commissioned by the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) in collaboration with the teaching union Voice and the National Childminding Association (NCMA).
