Developing play therapy

06 April 2010, 2:04pm

Play Therapy UK's certificate Introduction to Play Therapy is aimed at those interested in developing play therapy in their work with children.

The one-day course introduces mainly non-directive play techniques based on the humanistic model of Carl Rogers and outlines different techniques.

Participants will explore play therapy for themselves through art, movement, music and storytelling. The course also covers employment opportunities and training requirements for pursuing a career in working therapeutically with children.
