Spotlight on ... Sarah Oakley

11 March 2010, 12:00am

Position: Manager of Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery in Cirencester, Gloucestershire

- Why did you decide to do a sky dive?

We found information about skydiving on the internet. We do lots of fundraising at the nursery and wanted to try something a bit crazy. There will be 12 of us including nursery nurses, past members of staff, a colleague's boyfriend and myself doing the sky dive on 13 March to raise funds for Bristol Children's Hospital's Cots for Tots appeal.

- Are you feeling positive about the sky dive?

We are all really excited. I'm surprised none of us are panicking yet, but we are all just focusing on getting as many sponsors as possible before the big day. We organised the sky dive as a last minute thing and some of us have only just got our sponsorship forms through after booking it at the end of the year.

- How much money have you raised so far?

We have raised around £400 and set ourselves a target of £21,000.
