Outstanding providers celebrated by Ofsted

Some 450 childcare providers congregated at London's Guildhall on 12 February to celebrate their achievement in earning a place on the annual list of Outstanding providers published by Ofsted.
The event was hosted by Zenna Atkins, chair of the board, Ofsted, who said, 'I wholeheartedly congratulate every one of the Outstanding childcare providers for their success and hard work in delivering such high standards. Excellence does not happen by chance. Providers like this have a real drive to inspire, challenge, and support children.' All those who appear on the Outstanding Providers List 2008/09 receive commemorative certificates and are authorised to use an exclusive 'Outstanding Provider' logo.
