Spotlight on ... Sandra Hart

04 June 2009, 12:00am

Name: Sandra Hart

Position: Childminder and runner-up in Norwich council's local Enterprise Growth Initiative programme 'Go For It' for launching a website for parents

- How did you come up with the idea for the website?

I came up with the idea for a social networking and directory website about a year ago when a couple came to me about minding their child. They said how hard it was to find out about baby groups and activities for children in the area, so I made a list for them and the website developed from there.

- How long have you been a childminder?

I started work as a childminder four years ago after I had my daughter. A friend said she needed someone to look after her little boy, so I did some training and became a childminder.

- What are your future plans?

I am hoping to develop directories about other areas and am looking for anyone who could help.

The website is at www.theunder5snetwork.co.uk
