DCSF publishes guides to EYFS

A guide to the Early Years Foundation Stage aimed at explaining the new framework to parents has been published by the DCSF.
The guide, It's Child's Play stresses the importance of play and explains what parents can expect from the EYFS, which became statutory in all early years settings from Monday (1 September). The free leaflet provides an introduction to the EYFS, how it will affect providers and how it will be implemented.
