Violent parents target of poster

A poster aiming to reduce violence against children by their parents is the flagship of a new campaign by a Scottish children's charity.
The joint initiative by Children 1st and the police Violence Reduction Unit hopes to raise awareness of the impact of emotional and physical violence on children and highlight the importance of how parents speak to them. The poster will be sent out to nurseries, schools, playgroups, libraries and doctors' surgeries across Scotland.
