Green-fingered children enjoy fruits of labour

Green-fingered children at Granby nursery in Carlton in Lindrick, Worksop, enjoyed the fruits - and vegetables - of their labour when they picked potatoes they have grown while acting out scenes from one of their favourite books, The Enormous Turnip. They have been growing strawberries, radishes, onions, leeks, green beans and carrots and have enjoyed eating the produce as part of their nursery meals.
