I have worked in varied roles in nursery settings.

My only gripe is children who are amazed at my skin colour. I get curious questions, like 'Why are you brown?', 'Who are you?' and 'You haven't worn sun cream'. I answer by saying both my parents are brown skinned. I recently discovered that most books that were thrown to the side in schools were the books that should raise some awareness.
