Professional Nanny of the Year named

A 26-year-old nanny working in rural Herefordshire has won Professional Nanny of the Year 2008.
Debbie Darnborough, from Church Stretton in Shropshire, was named the winner of the Voice award at the education union's annual conference on Tuesday (26 July). The award was launched in 2004 to help raise the professional profile of nannies. Mrs Darnborough has worked as a nanny on and off for eight years and was nominated by her current employers.
