Play scheme to give ICT skills to disabled

Nurseries and children's centres in disadvantaged areas across England are being invited to apply for a new play scheme designed for children with disabilities.
The 'Play at IT' project, run by the computing and disability charity AbilityNet and funded by the Big Lottery Fund, aims to give disabled children an early introduction to some of the adaptive equipment they may have to rely upon in later life, and the opportunity to be involved in inclusive play activities.
